What's Changed?
The new FMLA Employer Response (Designation) Form contains information pertaining to the Final Rule under the FMLA, which became effective on January 16, 2009. The rule updates the FMLA regulations enacted under the National Defense Authorization Act in 2008.

This form meets the employer's obligation to confirm leave as FMLA-protected and informs the employee of the amount of leave that will be counted against the employee's FMLA leave entitlement. The form may also be used to inform the employee of any additional information needed.
